Not really. A win would be a great start. No set of fans go away happy from a draw.

Against Liverpool...WE DO

bots 06-08-2022 01:31 PM

they played well, and they were up against one of the best teams in the premier league, so that was a good start to the season

Typical Liverpool fan, always blaming someone else when their team isn't good enough to win.

How do you know they're one of the best teams in the league? The season has only just started. They might be relegation fodder.

Leeds won the league in 92 and the next season they were fighting relegation.

Klopp needs to take some responsibility for starting the woeful Firmino over Nunez.

because they went bankrupt and had to sell all their players. Liverpool have plenty cash

I'm supporting Everton and Brentford are my second team this season.

They've just signed a lad who's family I know. I used to live next door to his grandparents. His dad is a few years older than me but we grew up next door to each other and later played for the same Sunday league team and have many mutual friends.

All the best in the Premier league KLP. Do us proud lad.

I put Bournemouth, I meant Brentford, changed it now.

Keep us updated on the scores because I'm sat in the garden listening to music and having a few beers and not watching.

45+9?

What's happened for 9 minutes to be added on at the end of the first half? Has some incident happened?

Just giving the other teams a false sense of security before we put our foot on the gas in the run in for the title.

Yes it lasted all of 5 minutes, I think people hear medical emergency and immediately think something serious when it could be some one fainting, having a coughing fit or a panic attack, because now all grounds have defibrillators they have to stop the game and utilise the trained staff...this is new ...which is why it appears there are more than than pre covid ...obviously this was not serious ...as the game was paused for 5 minutes ....twitter needs to get a grip...rather than running around like a headless chicken each time there is a ‘medical’ emergency

Alf 06-08-2022 07:42 PM

I did say the same last season that Calvert-Lewin is our key man. Our play revolves around him. He's your classic number 9 that holds the play up and brings your team into play. I said you have to either have a replacement for him or adapt to play with a different style. Not sure Frank with all his football experience has figured this out yet.

Alf 06-08-2022 07:54 PM

Very disappointing result getting beat at home by a bunch of Southerners.

Alf 06-08-2022 08:01 PM

I'm more embarrassed by our result than Slim is with his teams result. Don't let Slim's absence fool you. He's delighted with a point down South.
