Nah, Drogba is a one trick pony who's very effective but he's doesn't have the class, balance or footballing brain that Rooney possesses. Plus Rooney is way younger than him.

One man doesn't make a team:p, like if Drogba was to ever leave Chelsea, Torres Liverpool or Fabregas Arsenal they would still cope with the talent they have:).

I think Chelsea would struggle a bit without Drogba

Torres > Drogba > Rooney > Tevez > Adebayor > Defoe > Van Persie > Yakubu > Carew > Berbatov.
