to be fair to united fans despite a majority saying they dont want Moyes most of them say they'll back him 100%

for most United fans this will be the first time they've seen their club under new management

Moyes will probably go and win the treble next season and everyone will forget about Fergie

I hope Mourinho gets the job, but it's looking almost certain to be Moyes. I was always frustrated with Alex Ferguson's lack of transfer signing every year and he never seemed to sign any big players. I know he was all about the younger players developing and everything, but with the way City/Chelsea have been going these past few years, it's time united started signing bigger players, and it's been proven to work with the RVP signing this season. I'm hoping whoever the new appointment is will not be afraid to sign big players.

There will be a video posted tomorrow, that Arista will be moaning about. It will be of Mancs being locked out of Nando's at 10.50.

Legend killer 08-05-2013 04:22 PM

The guy did an amazing job with United and is the second best manager ever behind Busby but I know this will probe a few guys butt holes on this forum but his time has been up for a couple of years now.

However much a legend he is his constant **** team selections and disgraceful tactical displays over the last 2 years have been diabolical and let's not even get started on the Giggs and Scholes debacle.

As I have said MANY TIMES Moyes was always going to take over and once again I hit it on the head hopefully he brings Fellani over with him

Legend killer 08-05-2013 04:24 PM

PS; Take Giggs with you Alex

Cheers

I doubt that very much, why would he do that? when now he'll have the money and pulling power to bring in world class players whom he had no chance of getting at Everton, but one thing he did do at Everton is that he always got the best out of the players he did have available to him, and i have no doubt he will get the best out of the players available to him at Utd, because that's what he does.

Everton's loss will be Manchester United's gain

Brother Leon 08-05-2013 05:49 PM

So this man will go down as his last signing.

http://i4.mirror.co.uk/incoming/arti...+in+Manchester

Do him proud,Wilf! :)

Drew. 08-05-2013 05:49 PM

i hope whoever does come in for him plays Zaha next season

Was only kidding. However, a bit of me fears that he may bring an Everton player that isn't upto the job of being a United one, in.

Hopefully he fixes the embarrassing midfield.

Feel sorry for Zaha. I imagine that a large part of his move was to do with working under Fergie. Now he's working under David Moyes rofl.

United could probably do with Fellaini

Perhaps. Although if we sign him and he plays a long ball game then ffs!

Fellaini has had a good campaign it's just a bit worrying how when Phil Jones just stood next to him, he was marked out the game. Hardly had to have a fantastic shift to stop him that day.

Drew. 08-05-2013 06:27 PM

he wouldnt be my first choice, hes too much of a hot head and not consistent enough

Compared to what's currently in our midfield, he's not bad. Although, not exactly going to fear us in Europe.

Brother Leon 08-05-2013 06:31 PM

Phil Jones has stopped Bale & Ronaldo(still scored, but it's Ronaldo) too this season. That's no knock on Felliani.

Drew. 08-05-2013 06:32 PM

given the choice id rather have phil jones playing CDM

Moyes won't have to do hardly anything, the systems are all set in place at Manchester United for them to be successful, the squad of players there are great players whether they're playing for Ferguson or Moyes, and they know their jobs, Moyes will just carry on them system's and I'm sure will have plenty of advice of Ferguson, and he's proved he can make a competitive team in this league (even on limited resources), he's shown that he's loyal and brings stability to a club, where as someone like Mourinho although probably the best manager in the World, he does have the potential to upset the applecart, and would be the kind of person who want to put his own system's in place, and his style of play is not the Manchester United style of play.

Moyes deserves this opportunity for the graft he's put in.

We have a lot of dead wood in our midfield, to be fair. Our midfield needs real work.
And Mourinho's style of play is fine. He has this reputation for being defensive but he's shown he can play fantastic football. Real broke a La Liga record scoring 121 goals last season. He plays better football than Moyes has done so far in his career.
