Up where you are though, isn't a lager and lime considered a cocktail?

caprimint 02-05-2019 09:57 AM

If he paid £10 for two cocktails (2-4-1 offer) then it's a BARGAIN

Livia 02-05-2019 09:59 AM

Hmmm... two proper Long Island Iced Teas for a tenner would be a bargain.

Vicky. 02-05-2019 10:01 AM

God I remember when the bar near us used to do cocktails for 3 quid, and on tuesdays had buy one get one free. Don't remember many tuesdays mind due to this, but remember the prices!

Oh yes, pina colada is lovely... that's my kind of alcoholic drink, one that tasted like it's non-alcoholic.

Same  I don't like the taste of most alcohol (beer, spirits, wine), so anything not too strong or fruity is good for me.

Yeah, we like drinks that make it feel like we're getting a couple of our five a day, and let's not worry too much about the alcohol....

I don't drink alcohol either.

I've been making my own wine for around a year now....its actually really nice if you've got the right gear, keep the right temp and buy the more expensive kits. Just got a cheeky shiraz fermenting at the mo. Works out so much cheaper but you got to have the willpower to not go mad when you have 30 bottles ready to drink.

I'de love to do that Annie,I just haven't got time, do you make all different kinds ? We tried beer once and it was a right disaster, lol.

I get a lot of wine from auctions. My last 30 bottles worked put at around 3 quid a bottle and this was 20- 30 quid a bottle 2o years ago wine than now tastes amazing

Who leaves drinks unattended in this day and age?

Remindes me off the time I was up looking after my little sisters house while she was on holiday..the cat needed fed....she was in one of those wine clubs....omg the things I was doing 4 bottles down at half five in the morning....like pernod....wine very very rarely gets touched these days.

Have only done reds so far....rioja, merlot and shiraz. Am going to try a fruit cider though for summer.

Its dangerous though, the first time I did it I honestly thought I'd done something wrong as I didn't think it tasted alcoholic, till I woke up the next day, still fully clothed, on the couch with a terrible headache

Is that a cocktail? Cocktails are always expensive, in the majority of places it's like £8 just for one if there's not an offer on or it's not during happy hour.

Can I push for seven pages just to piss Glenn off.
