There will be provision post brexit to ship in professionals with extendable work visas.

And if that sounds like modern day slavery, that's because it it.

I don't care about any of that, we should just be fighting to keep all the young, Asian women in the country :smug:

Seriously though, they're making these plans about 40 hospitals (reduced to 9 the following day), we have at least 50k fewer workers than we need already, we're sending foreigners away, and folks believe we're going to recruit workers from overseas to staff our NHS, when treating the ones here like ****. Makes absolutely no sense.

Kizzy 01-10-2019 10:53 AM

Haha! The Tories talk so much rubbish...40 hospitals? PFI franchises maybe, staffed with those who bought their degrees off the internet!

There was talk of reversing the free degrees for nursing but only for mental health and it applied to mature students I think.

The most concerning thing, is that they they used the phrase "seed money", which means they'll only be stumping up to start the projects, not the whole thing. This definitely indicates some kind of deal with the US, who will want to make money from our healthcare to pay for their investment.

What does the Conservative party stand for in 2019? If you survey the central tenets of Tory ideology from the past 50 years, it is hard to find a single one that is still intact.

The party of business is hellbent on undermining access to an export market of half a billion people.
The party of law and order is now raging against the judiciary – with senior Tories being regularly asked whether their government intends to obey the law.
The party of “family values” – “back to basics”, as John Major put it – has now fallen for the charms of a famous philanderer, who is currently being dogged by questions about how his “close friend”, Jennifer Arcuri, was awarded £126,000 of grants during his time as London mayor.
The party of the establishment is provoking a constitutional crisis, angering the Queen and expelling some of its most distinguished MPs from its benches.

Despite extensive preparations at Dover, the port’s chief executive said it still expects to see a drop in trade worth £1bn a week should Britain leave the EU without a deal. Addressing a ConservativeHome/Port of Dover fringe event at the conference, the transport minister George Freeman confirmed the government was assuming that disruption would roughly halve the traffic on Britain’s main trading link

In an interview with Sky News, Boris Johnson has refused three times to deny having an affair with Jennifer Arcuri, the businesswoman whose company received sponsorship from a mayoral fund when Johnson was in City Hall.

So we taxpayers paid for his ****s with her

I hope not, she shouldn't be an MP let alone a Minister.

She not only acted inappropriately in her last post, she deceived and lied to her PM too.
