Fair enough, I find that a little hard to wrap my head around because if anything I would say the words themselves were nice (if a little overdelivered) while the music and video were trashy in exactly the same way, with the kids scampering up and down where the director said to camper up and down, and even a scene where she was posed against a tree with a fan on her that they were pretending was a summer breeze, and digitally-added sunrays in post production :umm2:.
So yeah for me the message was nice but the production was ham-fisted and indeed in your words cheesy... I just don't understand how seeing the video could possibly make it LESS cheesy.
I dunno mang. Ultimately I just find it a bit depressing that she's had to battle cancer and in the aftermath has to pose for an emotionally empty video cobbled together by staffers and PR people, for the benefit of the overfamiliar public, when it's probably the last thing she actually wants to do. I'll no doubt be accused of lacking empathy by people who demonstrate time and time again that they have little to no interest in the actual human lives of the poor souls living in that fish tank.
