It might not have a history of racism, but remove the racism and look at it for what it is- a comparison between a doll (that just happens to have a racist connotation) and someone else. Thats what you can't seem to understand, and if you can't do that then imo you are more narrowminded than racist people will ever be.

To me the doll and the man do look alike, the hair as well. Do you think that those 2 in that picture look alike? It ends at the hair, just like the other picture!! Double standards if you're trying to say those up there actually look alike any more than the two you posted.

Yes but people need to stop being so over sensitive and looking at things within context. My comparison is exactly what Carol did and is imo no different. Its just unfortunate that what she used as a comparison has such a history. If she compared him to something else would there still be a problem? She isn't exactly changing what she is saying ...

The fact remains, she didnt compare him to something else. Ant the fact that no one looks like that doll whatsoever, tells me its a racist statement to make, and there is no way of going around it! And over sensitivity doesnt apply in this case. Its common decency and respect that applies!
