Arsenal, Man City and Newcastle all dropped points, that is a great week for united

Yesterday, and maybe Newcastle, are the only games where we've missed Gabriel Jesus. You need to remember that he's going to come back.

We've lost two in a row. Its concerning but I think we'll be fine against Brentford next week at home. We played well against City but ultimately switched off for their goal. Yesterday, Everton had a new manager bounce. Arsenal had 70% possession but Everton did great job in shutting down our main attacking threat.

Man City are capable of going on a ten game winning run but the way they're currently playing I don't think they're capable of it at the moment. Liverpool look out of sort.

I dont see how you think Arsenal will implode. Is it more you hope they implode than anything else?

bots 05-02-2023 06:56 PM

I don't know what's happened to city, but i don't see them coming out ahead over the 2 games against arsenal. They used to have 1 off day and then they were back with a vengeance, that's just not happening this season. Its actually feasible that united overtake them the way things are going

GiRTh 05-02-2023 07:00 PM

A few people have highlighted Haaland as the problem. I think they may be onto something. He always plays, he plays every minute. Pep took Aguero or Jesus off after sixty minutes in just about every game. Haaland changes the dynamic of the team. The teams who have been successful against just concentrate on Haaland. It seems to be getting results.

Crimson Dynamo 05-02-2023 07:01 PM

haaland was pish today

HE changes the dynamic of the team. They don't really play the way he likes.

Strange saying that after he's scored 20 odd goals so far but something's clearly not right at City.

bots 05-02-2023 07:25 PM

they have plenty players that are capable of scoring goals in their own right though and they are not consistent at the moment either, to me, the team just seem half a yard off the pace

They probably see the league slipping away .. although those two games against each other are absolutely critical of course

Chelsea will be next

bots 06-02-2023 10:20 AM

yeah, if they are going for man city, chelsea will follow, maybe with a dash of newcastle and everton for good measure

bots 06-02-2023 10:25 AM

you can bet the Man City players all knew this was coming down too, which may account for their recent lack lustre performances
