I still don't know why people would want to be in a pack mentality on a big brother forum as I said before it's not a playground and no one achieves anything from it just a ban. Vileness annoys me and I do think just because someone is 'annoying' doesn't mean that member should feel like they are not welcome on this forum. Some threads are not for everyone because not having much in common so I agree with what Jake said.

The other night I got involved in something to do with you which I admit now was COMPLETELY out of order and it didn't have anything to do with me and for that I'm really sorry. I certainly have felt personally both attacked and ganged up on by you and another member in the not so long ago past.

Luke  If people are including you in this pack then they honestly don't know you. You are one of the loveliest members on here and welcome every new member with open arms as you did with me when I first joined

I cant remember that situation but if i have made you feel like your being ganged up on i truly am sorry because it is certainly something i dont want to be part of and this goes for anybody i have upset as i dont go out of my way to offend people and i know i sometimes say things i shouldnt in the heat of the moment but i never want to hurt anyones feeling and im sorry for anbody who feel i may have treated them like that.

I don't think i am :worry: I doubt it anyway, but thank you :flutter: I felt you had such a hard time before because of your opinions and there was no need for people to attack you. I always defend myself and others.

Honestly, Adam I'm fine with it now and I hope we both can move on from this because I don't want bad vibes for either of us on a forum. It's a place where you are supposed to relax and enjoy your time there.

Thank you Luke, I did feel certainly ganged up when I joined this forum but luckily the main culprit seems to have been permanently banned. Thank you for defending me I never really said thanks :blush2:

Kizzy 27-10-2015 11:05 AM

I had hell on at first here, but the pack accepted me.....
Well I say accepted me, tolerate is probably closer.

I don't know what this thread is all about because I can't be bothered to read it all :hehe: but I noticed this post and wanted to back it up because I remember you made me feel welcomed when I first joined too, Luke. I don't think everyone appreciates it can be a bit intimidating when you first join, especially if you've never been on a forum before. So if people are saying you have a pack mentality they're wrong.

Niamh. 27-10-2015 11:10 AM

Is there really "packs" though? the way it seems to me is there are people who generally agree with eachother, on all sides, not just one group, any of those could be called "packs"

There are many friendship groups on here yes, but there's only one or two that continuously make people feel unwelcome whether it be intentionally or not.

Kyle 27-10-2015 11:25 AM

I'd say so. When people get together in other places away from this forum then it's pretty easy to form little groups and stuff.

Not saying there's anything wrong with socialising away from here in any way just that an us and them and mentality can form pretty quickly.

I don't think this has any bearing on gamepodfan though, as far as I'm aware he doesn't belong to any group. He's just a case of being an easy target cos he has nobody to back him up.

I think you are bound to talk to people who you have more in common with etc so i agree but i've always welcomed people(many others has well) no harm in getting to know new people is there :p

..group friendships are different and yeah there will always be those...pack mentalities can also sometimes be present in groups of people, they're not something that are continuous necessarily and aren't something that every member of a group necessarily actively participates in ...

And this is what I believe needs to change we need to try and welcome him more and not get on his case if he irritates any of us

Yeah, and if ever there's a new discussion people start disagreeing with the people they previously agreed with.

We're one giant dysfunctional family rather than packs tbh. :smug:

Not really. I joined in May and they instantly made me feel welcome. In fact, they were the only ones who made me feel welcome. :idc:
