Apparently Chelsea’s have scored just 3 goals in their last 9 games yet they continue to leave Aubameyang on the BENCH !!

Potter is not giving the players a chance to gel as a team, he keeps rotating and changing tactics. He should stick with the same players every week and use the same tactics until they settle down.

He is obviously completely out of his depth

It will be interesting to see if the new Chelsea hierarchy stick or twist !?

United stuck with Fergie and had immense success

Arteta’s team apparently lost 7 out of 9 pre season games and Arsenal stayed loyal to him ..

Even Leicester stood by Rodgers …

Just imagine if tan Heg had kept Rashford on in that game when he was chasing the scoring record … he actions scored but it was sadly disallowed and then he was subbed off with about 30 minutes to go and with United on top .. I’d have been blazing

I hate all these bladdy VAR checks to disallow virtually every damn goal !!

I’ve seen comments from a few players who say that they don’t celebrate when they score .. many fans feel the same

It’s taken a massive part out of the whole football experience for many people

True .. Two teams who play ugly football though .. predictably so given the two managers

There have been some real good games of late though thankfully.. I think I’ve watched about 5 real entertaining games in the last week

Another horrendous tackle on a flair player - this has returned to football this season and it’s getting more and more prevalent

Perisic just jumped in and stamped on Bowens ankle .. then did the same thing to Coufal on the touch line

Both red card offences just one yellow

I think it’s time they started protecting the flair players ..

In stoppage time while they're 2-0 up as well, totally unnecessary

MTVN 19-02-2023 05:47 PM

We were bloody rubbish though

Everyone’s favourite midfielder and captain , Declan Rice steering his men to the championship

He’s the most overrated player ( along with Foden ) in world football

Just my opinion

Graham Potter still has the support of Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly and the club's board despite their poor run of form.

The Blues have won just two of their past 14 games in all competitions and were beaten 1-0 by Premier League strugglers Southampton on Saturday.

Potter was appointed in September following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.

However, Chelsea's owners have made it clear that hiring Potter was part of a long-term project.

It is felt the team needs an opportunity to gel after a rebuild that has seen £583m spent on new players in the past two transfer windows, with eight new signings arriving in January alone.

It is also recognised the unprecedented injury crisis has also contributed to difficult circumstances for Potter.

So that means he will be gone in a couple of weeks

West Ham boss David Moyes still has the full support of the club despite his team dropping into the Premier League relegation zone over the weekend.

Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham left Moyes' side in 18th place in the table.

It has raised questions over the Scot's future, with some suggestions he could be sacked if West Ham lose Saturday's home game with Nottingham Forest.

BBC Sport has been told the situation is not as clear-cut as that and Moyes retains the board's 100% backing.

It is acknowledged how much good work Moyes has done since he returned for a second spell as manager in December 2019, guiding them clear of relegation trouble before taking them into Europe through their league position in successive seasons for the first time in the club's history.

Moyes knows that West Ham's current position is not what was expected after an unprecedented summer transfer spend, even though the squad has been badly hit by injuries.

However, West Ham will learn their last-16 opponents in the Europa Conference League on Friday and next week face Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth round.

And the belief is, with 15 games to go, Moyes can still turn the current league situation around.

Moyes' first spell as Hammers boss ran between November 2017 and May 2018, when he was not offered a new contract.

Intriguing

Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk is ‘not in a good mood’ at the club according to Shakhtar Donetsk director of football Darijo Srna as the 40-year-old admitted that he would happily buy the player back.

The winger is yet to impress since his big-money move to Stamford Bridge in January after the Blues beat London rivals Arsenal to his signature.
