Roy Keane and Gary Neville are more invested in the club than any fans could ever hope to be …

they are more critical of the club than anyone else. Roy Keane the captain who was sacked and left in disgrace, what a great example

Arsenal's celebrations following their 97th minute winner over Bournemouth on Saturday are being investigated by the Football Association.

The Gunners' bench rushed on to the field to celebrate after Reiss Nelson's late winner made the score 3-2.

However, the incident was included in referee Chris Kavanagh's match report and will be reviewed further.

We will have none of that celebrating malarky at a football game :fist:

Interesting piece of writing off the t’internet

:::

Mudryk was caught liking comments on social media criticizing Cucerella for not passing the ball enough to him a few matches ago.

Basicaly blaming Cucurella for his poor from.

His Ukrainian Club owner/coach had also made comments that I suspect Potter may have not liked.

Maybe these things have contributed to him not playing much during the past 2 matches and of course, he hasn't really played well since he arrived there...but given his price tag, I would be surprise if Pulisic continue to be picked ahead of Mudryk

Incredible !!

Ten Hag has been under pressure from the media to give the captain’s armband to someone else when Harry Maguire is left on the bench.
But the Dutchman has given his full support to the 28-year-old when speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Thursday’s Europa League tie against Real Betis.
Asked whether Fernandes will continue to be United‘s skipper in Maguire’s absence, Ten Hag said said: “Yes, definitely.
“I think he’s playing a brilliant season, he’s played an important role in the position that we are.

Fernades was spotted walking around the pitch as he failed to track back, while whinging at his teammates as well as referee Andy Madley.
He even kicked out at Trent Alexander-Arnold before pushing assistant referee Adam Nunn – and was even seen to be practically asking to be subbed off the pitch when the score was 5:0 !

i seem to remember John Terry kept the captaincy while shagging a team mates wife and Gerard wasn't much better. All Fernandes has done is complain about a few ref decisions. Nothing wrong with that at all

You're right in one sense, yeah Terry was a prolific shagger and gambler, Gerard has been in a few questionable situations too. But the main difference between Terry and Gerard, and Fernandes is passion. Terry and Gerard were Generals on the pitch, winning or losing. They wouldn't have a tantrum like Fernandes. They'd been barking at their teammates rather than sulking.

Don't get me wrong, i actually like and rate Fernandes, but im just not sure he's captain material. He's done well, but Man Utd needed a leader during that defeat, and he was anything but a leader on Sunday.

Asking to be subbed when ‘his’ team are 5:0 down and falling apart ?!

I’m surprised Roy Keane hasn’t said something about that point !

He also throws his arms up in disgust if a teammate’s pass to him isn’t perfect but it’s fine when he misplaces a pass or two . Constantly berates younger players ..

How is that classed as being captain material

Bewildering

Maybe their success is ‘despite’ his influence ?

I haven’t seen enough of him can’t stand watching either Manchester team so I can’t say but when I do catch a little of his play I’ve never been impressed with his captaincy … just a great passer / creator

He’s a talented player for sure but never a captain.

Is he the captain of Portugal ?

Casimiro would be the perfect captain .. he’s won everything as well

Do you enjoy your captains faking head injuries, refusing to take part in a game and attacking officials?

i don't give a crap if the team get results, and so far this season has been pretty good with him as captain

bots 09-03-2023 05:53 AM

the word is that Conte won't extend his contract and spurs wouldn't offer him a new contract anyway so that sounds like a happy camp

He will be lucky to make it to the end of the season

Calls himself a professional while giving the most unprofessional interview since CR7. This guys is truly a prick. To think Arsenal wanted him; I wouldnt have him for tuppence. How many league goals has he scored?
