On a slightly different though related topic...what are peoples thoughts on if passing transpeople should tell their potential partners they are trans before it gets to a sexual level (at which stage it would become pretty obvious)? I think they should. I expect to be in the minority though.

That sort of thing, I believe, should be discussed way before the relationship becomes sexual. I'd even go as far as to say it should be one of the first things that's discussed.

You were badgering people about their sexual preferences, I was asking if you have any. If you don't then clearly you won't understand others that do, if you do then why are calling others into question?

Its not that comfortable though is it? Perhaps a thought for others when you do that.

I feel like it's something that should be explained at the first date tbh.

Thanks Cherie, I'm actually fine with it, I've talked about my sexuality before on here - will do again, if it was relevant to the discussion ofcourse.

The answer is clearly yes. Knowing makes a huge difference to many.

Ive only discussed the things that they, themselves brought up Jaxie. Unlike you.

This true, we don't agree on much, but people on here are trying to make us into a mob ganging up on livia

That is another issue. For a trans to try and dupe someone into sex is disgusting. If they deliberately don’t tell someone and in the heat of the moment that person is unaware that is abuse in my opinion. The shock could be quite damaging to some people.

I think it’d be a standard reaction.You’d feel violated.

People can read the thread themselves and come to whatever conclusion. It did look like you were scolding Livia for her personal sexual choices though to me  Almost as if trying to find an 'aha' movement from which to tell her her own sexuality and choices was wrong

I think they should be 100% honest about who they are. Love doesn't live on lies. Also the person the trans person is dating might be religious or want their own children and this would have a strong bearing on the relationship.

Thing is we have seen it many times before from some people - it is a pattern of behaviour.

You should have quoted your own posts as well for proper context

As they still have the physical strength of men they are more able to defend themselves.

Crimson Dynamo 07-01-2018 04:02 PM

Is it now would you fight a transexual?

It depends on what your perception of a woman is.To me cosmetic surgery and hormones doesn’t make a woman. It makes a cosmetically altered man on steroids.

This happened to a lesbian friend of mine, except she ended up being the one twatted :(

In a club, was dark, they were drunk, transwoman did not reveal they were actually a transwoman until they had my friend alone in her house. Then tried to guilt trip friend into shagging them anyway even though lesbians friend is obviously..lesbian so not into penises. Transwoman ended up assaulting her as she was apparently transphobic and went round slagging her off to everyone. Was all awful really.

Sadly not even a rare thing these days. Lesbians are being scolded for their sexualitites on a depressingly regular basis. And usually, the ones saying that the lesbians are transphobic are pre-op anyway. So fully expecting a gay female to be shagging male people. But yeah, this is 'progressive'.
