In humanitarian issues, yes, as we move forward to the newer generation, both sexes should be looked and treated equal as we both have rights.
I believe there are things that a man can do exclusively and a woman can do solely, but that's what makes the world beautiful and so different isn't it ?

even in sports like darts or snooker where its non physical men are always better

throughout history its been men who have been famous artists, engineers, scientists, poets etc etc

The question in itself is sexist! Would the op have asked if people of different colours/race should be treated differently, or people of different sexuality - I suspect not!

It is too obvious to be asked - of course they shouldn't! It has been medically established that intelligence is inherited from the mother - and has nothing to do with the sex of the child! Because women have a lot more about them then just raising families! In the modern world, with more labour saving devices - women have more time to follow careers as well as having families!

Like most things in life, it is about choice! If women are able and want to do both - that is up to them! It is not for individuals with narrow, pre-conceived ideas to tell others how they should live their lives according to their gender!
