whats everyones favourite method of killing ants?
 

what method of killing ants is your choice of preference?
.. mine is getting a kettle of boiling water, and pouring it down thier central stairwell., thus killing thousands in one hit. Any remaining stragglers can be picked off one by one with a claw hammer.

You've never killed ants as a child??? it is fantastic!! .. try burning them with a magnifying glass. i'd forgotten about that one.

i am sooo against animal cruelty and hate it when people are nasty about them! whether they havent got a mind or whatever it still is totally cruel ! You wouldnt like it if sum1 just seen u and decided to crunch you dead wud ya? and they are gods creatures remember. I couldnt care whether they were blind, deaf, no brain or mind etc etc it's still killing a living creature

Well I see we have now ran out of anything normal at all to talk about and have had to start talking about things like killing ants :tongue:

When I was a child I liked to put lighter fuel on them and then use the magnifying glass!!! but of course as a responsible adult I would never consider doing anything so cruel :laugh::laugh:

When I was younger I just used to squash them i think, although i never used it, the magnifying glass is probably the best technique, with hot water a close second. But I wouldnt do it now inless I was camping near a nest of them and they might crawl all over me and bite me.

I put them all in a cup full of ant food. and torch the little things. hahaha.

I happen to be a girl actually not a guy,. and no wonder, i am scared of ants but youre all going on psychopatically killing em and that.... i mean come on it isnt normal:rolleyes:

Recently had an ant invasion at my school where i work in the technology department they were all over the benches and the sugar bags. We got proffesional people in but I dont know ehat they did to get rid of them

rr scooby! its so cruel, i went to turkey a few years back with my sister and we were in our hotel and there was ants, my sisters the same she hurts them and i really go off it with her. I was scared of them at the time and they were running across our hotel rooms floor. So my sister went and knocked on the door opposite and said to the bloke 'Excuse me we have ants in our room, do you? he said aye i used the hoover so my flipping sister got the hoover and hoovered them up, running around the room like a psychopathic maniac
