Afraid not, all he can do is scream.

There's no point being bitter all the three finalists would have been deserving.

More deserving than most of the others, except Rebecca :/

Probably based on Weeks 1-8 but not for the past 2 weeks, he was god awful all through this weekend

Matts been dull past two weeks and his vocals out of tune.

Liked him at first but he got worse. Rebecca grew as a performer.

even though i would have prefered an aiden or paije victory,i still think matt is a very good winner.

The only reason why he won was because he went first in every round over this weekend, its no coincidence that each act to be eliminated went last.

actually being on 1st is worse because his performance wasnt as fresh in the publics mind.

oh, and 'unfaithful' with rihanna was epic <3

The last couple of weeks he has been terrible but im guessing that was down to him being ill. The 8 weeks before that he was for by far the best contestant on the show and his win is fully deserved imo.

Rebecca in all honesty has never impressed me all that much, her best performance by a distance was sweet dreams tonight, the first time she really has impressed me.

I congratulate him. But I know that Cher,OD, Rebecca and him are going to be successful.

Matt would of been the least successful without the win imho. But, I can't complain. It was a great series.

No smart arse it isn't a disadvantage because the phone lines were open from the start of the show, which makes it an advantage.

Yepp, Rebecca would have been a better winner though, he started to slip whereas she got better and better.

ermm your wrong as they both had similar fanbases anyway so one direction and rebecca were in the driving seat.

No, he has a boring plain voice and has to resort to endless high notes to keep attention. Like the fireworks he sang about tonight he's a flash in the pan and it won't be long until he whimpers back into the obscurity from whence he came.

He won out of sympathy really. He got outmatched by the other two acts today but he limped onto victory because he's female voters were all 'OMG HE'S SO FIT LYKE OMG!!!!!'.

Oh yes... deserved it.

Mind you... I'd have said the same if Rebecca had won - both of them deserved to be placed as highly as they were.

He deserved to win, I think he's gone downhill since week 8 but he was ill in week 9 and I think the nerves of the final weekend shook him which is understandable, but he's a good singer, you can't fault him for that. I find him very boring and I'd put money on him flopping but he did deserve to win. Rebecca and indeed One Direction would have also made deserving winners.

Yep, he's great. And he's never really had a bad performance the whole way through.

he did deserve to win, the two most talented were there, but counting the days now for the wonderful album rebecca will release :)

probably best Rebecca didn't win.. Matt reached his peak, whereas there's more to come from Rebecca I think

Yes,most of us know he was good,but just because he was unwell and didn't sing 'good' enough according to some,some people didn't like him,for me he was the best even when he was ill,as NONE of them were perfect,Good luck to him and the others

Most of them are probably girls, I quote from facebook statuses 'He's so fit YUMMMMMMM' 'Matt 2 win' 'HE'S GORJUS!' It's that casual vote that won it for him. The women though he was a bit of all right so he won. Not saying anyone on here thinks like that but I'm willing to bet my house the votes played out like that.

It doesn't matter how the votes panned out. The man won. At least be gracious enough to give him credit where it's due.

Yep, definitely. One of my favourite winners of The X Factor, if not my favourite. He totally deserved it.

Finally, the public got a chance to decide, and they had 2 very good people to chose from.

Like what exactly? Just because I don't think he's Jesus Reincarnate doesn't mean I'm jealous. Also if you read my post after that you'd have seen I said I wasn't accusing anyone on tibb of it, only the casual voters. So before you start biting at me read my posts in future please.
