Probably based on Weeks 1-8 but not for the past 2 weeks, he was god awful all through this weekend

Matts been dull past two weeks and his vocals out of tune.

Liked him at first but he got worse. Rebecca grew as a performer.

even though i would have prefered an aiden or paije victory,i still think matt is a very good winner.

The only reason why he won was because he went first in every round over this weekend, its no coincidence that each act to be eliminated went last.

The last couple of weeks he has been terrible but im guessing that was down to him being ill. The 8 weeks before that he was for by far the best contestant on the show and his win is fully deserved imo.

Rebecca in all honesty has never impressed me all that much, her best performance by a distance was sweet dreams tonight, the first time she really has impressed me.

I congratulate him. But I know that Cher,OD, Rebecca and him are going to be successful.

Matt would of been the least successful without the win imho. But, I can't complain. It was a great series.

ermm your wrong as they both had similar fanbases anyway so one direction and rebecca were in the driving seat.

people just have to except matt did exceptionally well,i also think biffa cole cost rebecca the win.

No, he has a boring plain voice and has to resort to endless high notes to keep attention. Like the fireworks he sang about tonight he's a flash in the pan and it won't be long until he whimpers back into the obscurity from whence he came.

He won out of sympathy really. He got outmatched by the other two acts today but he limped onto victory because he's female voters were all 'OMG HE'S SO FIT LYKE OMG!!!!!'.

He deserved to win, I think he's gone downhill since week 8 but he was ill in week 9 and I think the nerves of the final weekend shook him which is understandable, but he's a good singer, you can't fault him for that. I find him very boring and I'd put money on him flopping but he did deserve to win. Rebecca and indeed One Direction would have also made deserving winners.
