It's tomorrows.
Remember what date it is tomorrow. April 1st... aprils fools day... :D

However, that front page plus the Guardian report today, and then on top of that the Cheryl Cole hosting article in the Star is all making me very curious. Is it really back for good this time? Who knows :o

lukee 31-03-2011 09:56 PM

thats got to be the april fools joke

lukee 31-03-2011 09:59 PM

of maybe that is the point we think its aprils fools only to be confirmed in a few weeks

Tom. 31-03-2011 10:00 PM

They're just the same rumours as every other year

The thing about Katie Piper is probably the April fool

I swear the live feed returned last year

JohnnyBB 31-03-2011 10:00 PM

should we be expecting some sort of press realease within the hour?

lukee 31-03-2011 10:02 PM

nar i wouldnt expect one i would really like that to happen but probs not

Glenn. 31-03-2011 11:04 PM

Is anyone else feeling like they don't want Big Brother to return a year after C4's 'Big Send Off'?

BIG Brother is to return to our screens this summer, bigger, brighter, sexier and more outrageous than ever.

And for the first time viewers will get the chance to decide which housemates actually enter as contestants.

That could see the likes of Jenny Thompson, who claimed England ace Wayne Rooney, 25, enjoyed £1,000-a-time romps with her, starring alongside his model cousin Natalie, 20.

Other possible housemates could include The Only Way Is Essex’s Faiers sisters Sam, 20 and Billie, 21, and outspoken football pundit Andy Gray, 55.

The revamped spy-on-the-wall hit will include all the favourite items plus hot new features.

There will be a split screen so fans can choose which celeb they follow.

The 24-hour feed will return so viewers can see housemates round the clock and there will be a huge new pool and sauna.

A celebrity show will be followed by a version with “ordinary” housemates. Bosses have already made a £5million bid to tempt Cheryl Cole, 27, into the hosting role made famous by Davina McCall, 43.

If she cannot be tempted from US X Factor, another name in the frame is Big Brother’s Little Brother host Emma Willis, 35.

A source said: “With the weather set to be scorching the show will have some sizzling action.”

Glenn. 31-03-2011 11:19 PM

If it came back I would want Emma to take over. She loves Big Brother and isn't full of herself like jumped up fame hungry Cheryl Cole.

CHERYL COLE SET TO BE NEW BIG BROTHER BABE (NEW)
Spoiler:

CHERYL Cole has fuelled rumours she will be the new Big Brother host by talking about her love of all things British.

She also admitted she gets homesick while working in LA.

The proud Geordie vowed never to forget her roots, and she is not prepared to tone down her north-east twang to break the States.

Cheryl, 27, insisted: “It’s going nowhere. Absolutely nowhere.”

It’s the Girls Aloud star’s biggest hint yet that she could be prepared to snub the US and front reality megahit Big Brother when it returns later in the year.

She talked about her passion for Britain as she waited in Hollywood to find out if she will be named as a judge on the US X Factor.

And she told Glamour magazine she misses our grub so much she gets pals to ship her supplies.

The singer gets cravings for a cuppa, Dairy Milk, Galaxy and KitKats. Cheryl said: “Ringtons tea from Newcastle is the best.

“I always ask my family to bring me some when they visit.

“I also miss British chocolate, American chocolate is awful! It’s like wax. I have to get some Dairy Milk or Galaxy brought out.

“As for their KitKats, I don’t know how they can even call them KitKats.”

Cheryl showed she is the best of British as she got on her bike and rolled on a typically English lawn for a stunning photoshoot for the magazine.

The pop princess also raved about the royals, saying: “Prince Charles is really lovely, charming, funny and down to earth.

“He’s a bit of a dude, but Prince Harry’s my favourite.”

Cheryl said she was excited about the royal wedding between Prince William, 28, and Kate Middleton, 29.

She said: “I can’t wait to see Kate’s dress. She’s going to look beautiful.”

She admitted she has not decided whether to stay in the US, where mentor Simon Cowell, 51, wants to make her a star.

Cheryl added: “I’ve had my life mapped out for the best part of 10 years.

“For now I just want to enjoy myself and live in the moment.”

See Cheryl Cole in the May issue of GLAMOUR, out next week.

Is a BB on 5 thread in a forum specifically for BB on 5 necessary? Why keep things to one thread when this forum is exists so there can be dozens of threads on the matter?

They will probably mention this story on tomorrow's Wright Stuff (on C5 but not made by them) but I doubt we'll see an official confirmation (presuming this has some truth to it and is not just the daily star making stuff up independently of it's new sister company) just yet, there again, three articles in two days from N&S's flagship tabloid? Might get something tomorrow afternoon, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well no but thought it might be good to have a thread to post little stories & speculation that you wouldn't wanna make a new thread for (like it says in the first post)

I'd say the first two articles listed in the OP are thread worthy (even if the daily star aren't remotely reliable, their owner is the owner of C5). It's all speculation at this point.

They are, I wasn't referring to those as small stories but yeah when we've got so little news to go on any news is worth its own thread I suppose.. pointless thread :joker:

Big Brother will definitely return on Channel 5 this summer, according to reports.

The Daily Star Sunday has claimed that Channel 5 will sign a five-year deal with Endemol in the next few days. As previously rumoured, the show will return with a four-week Celebrity run in August, immediately followed by a regular series in September.

Among the celebrities being considered for the summer stint are ex-Harrods boss Mohamed Al-Fayed, The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs and The Wanted singer Max George. Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen will apparently be offered a "big-money" deal.

Joanna Lumley, Peaches Geldof, Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy, Abbey Clancy and Tinie Tempah are also said to be on the producers' wishlist.

Additonally, controversial football pundit Andy Gray, Home and Away actress Samara Weaving and boxer Ricky Hatton could be offered deals to take part in the reality show.

"We are giving television fans exactly what they wanted - Big Brother back on our screens this summer," a source said. "The deal will be signed over the next couple of days but everything has been agreed. It's a really exciting time for Channel 5 and everyone is determined to make this new era of Big Brother the best yet.

Renovation work has already started on the house, which will be similar to those in previous series but with additional improvements, the report adds.

"It will still have things like the Diary Room. The show's format will also stay the same so fans don't have to worry. It will still be the same programme that they've all grown to love over the years but with a bigger, brighter and sexier future.

"It's going to have a bit of a revamp with some new features but all the favourite items will be back, including the 24-hour live feed."

It was recently reported that Cheryl Cole could be offered a £5m deal to host the show.

She will be as cheap as chips. I wouldn't mind her going on. The celeb version of course. She is a celebrity and the only way is essex is popular. Much rather have her than some slag who claimed she has shagged Wayne Rooney or that girl who had Jack P Shephards love child.

However I rather have Mark or Sam on BB than Amy. I think Mark and Sam would be more entertaining. Especially Sam.

DigitalSid 03-04-2011 10:06 PM

I notice Sky News have uploaded all the broadsheet front pages but none of the tabloids, embargoed story keeping them from being released possibly?

DigitalSid 04-04-2011 10:09 PM

Looks like we won't find out what the star are saying tonight till midnight, sky news haven't yet uploaded tomorrow's papers for some reason.

DigitalSid 04-04-2011 11:23 PM

No new stories on BB tonight from the star unless it's just not been added to their site's search yet. The story will be tweeted here within the next hour or so if there is one:

Hope this hasn't been a third and final false start, bloody Desmond if so.
