With Halloween coming up and the obligatory themed parties what's your views, do you love or loathe them?...

I love fancy dress :D

I like it if I have the money to waste on it :laugh: but I hate people who have themed birthday parties... fancy dress should just be saved for Halloween.

Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.

Always good fun, brings another dimension to the night mucking about in character :D

Hate them, such a hassle to do and a waste of money

For my 40th Birthday a good few years ago now, me and my mates got dressed up as sexy witches. My birthday is in January so it made it quite interesting.

I LOVE Hallowen,love dressing the kids up and we always have a party and watch a certain DVD:evilgrin: we usually have a good time,I will be Morticia this year:joker:

I took the easy route and am going as a nun so I can hide my trainers with the dress :D

Halloween is probably my, to use an Americanism, 'Holiday' of the year. Fancy dress can suck it though.

Although I did used to dress up as a child for it every year. One year as a Werewolf, with my face smeared in gravy browning lol

Halloween is a great excuse to scare the sh*t out of little kids. Can't wait. :joker:

this! considering it'll probably be an outfit I'm not likely to wear often. I don't think I've ever done fancy dress since I was little though.

I am a big fan of fancy dress. I like when people put in great effort and creativity. You can usually make the outfit look amazing pretty cheaply as well with careful planning and scouting. My sheep outfit I made cost me the total $3 to make ($1 for the massive pillow which I used the stuffing from for wool, $1 for the dressing gown and $1 for the woolly hat which I stuck all the pillow fluff too)

What an ace Idea! sheep costume chuck some blood on it, stick some roasties and carrots on you and go as an escaped sunday dinner! haha!!

Gavin would kill me for this, but he has his fancy dress costume sorted for Saturday. Just waiting for the belt (which for some reason didnt come with he outfit :bored: )



His friend too...we took the piss and said he should come as superman, and he bought the costume the next day :laugh:

The Batman outfit's nice. The ears are too long and the tights are too creased, but otherwise OK. Would like to see the logo better. But the Superman outfit... :nono:

Ahh he has different bottoms since he took that. Bought one of those second skin things in black to go under the rubber stuff

Cant do nowt about the ears though unfortunately :joker:
