I like it if I have the money to waste on it but I hate people who have themed birthday parties... fancy dress should just be saved for Halloween.

How about we post good costumes for inspiration? reasonably cheap and easy to do as poss though.

I hate fancy dress, and I have to go out n it for gavs 30th at the end of september

I took the easy route and am going as a nun so I can hide my trainers with the dress

Halloween is probably my, to use an Americanism, 'Holiday' of the year. Fancy dress can suck it though.

Although I did used to dress up as a child for it every year. One year as a Werewolf, with my face smeared in gravy browning lol
