I have not been up there for a While

Crimson Dynamo 13-07-2016 11:45 AM

He is not, for health and safety of the blind and disabled his equipment is a health and safety hazard and could cause serious injury. He should be told to move on by a constable

It IS her business if she lives and shops there. I'm all for someone trying to make a bob or two anyway they can, but he's taking up half the pavement and is a hazard for people like her on crutches, or anyone who can't see.:fist:

into the Battery Amp

bots 13-07-2016 12:58 PM

I've seen a lot of very famous performers busking in the street at one time or another. Neil Young and Bon Jovi come to mind immediately. I'm all for buskers.

That's the sort of thing my granny would say :hehe:

You don't need a busking license in every city of the UK. I don't know about Liverpool.

and she is right. Begging for sympathy money is disgraceful for a young able man

I would tell him he has 1 month to get a job or he goes into the military

DemolitionRed 13-07-2016 01:54 PM

And no doubt you would be offended at his answer!

Kizzy 13-07-2016 03:04 PM

He has a great voice, I feel for those who have no joy in their lives but why attempt to suck it from others?

Northern Monkey 13-07-2016 03:22 PM

Liverpool the city of culture and musical heritage and miserable old bats who don't appreciate it.

Crimson Dynamo 13-07-2016 03:25 PM

And what about the workers in that shop?

They have spent hours window dressing it to entice in customers only for a street beggar and his accoutrements to block it and make people walk miles away from it save they get deafened by his whailings

I see what you did there... Bob Marley...whailings...lol

Shaun 13-07-2016 03:38 PM

"Leave him alone! He's trying to make some money, GO AWAY" :joker: the woman at 2:08 for CBB please.

Mokka 13-07-2016 03:40 PM

Busking is a legal profession... no one has proof he doesn't have a license

The sidewalk was big enough for this lady and others to go around even with a crowd of people

The store is obviously fully aware he is there...he is using their electricity and probably cut a deal with them.

His playing in front of the store makes people actually stop and notice the window display

If you don't like the music...the tone, sound or volume.... move on lady....the world is big enough

Like bitontheside said... many famous musicians started out this way

And what is the point of life without these small injections of art and culture to uplift us during our busy day.

You are an unsympathetic young man. Well one day you will be old too and for your sake let's hope society isn't filled with people of your mindset.

It certainly doesn't make her right just because she disagrees with them being there. People are far too miserable these days.

:nono: Would you still have that view if it was Nigel Farage standing outside a Job Centre singing 'Largo al factotum' in his wonderful Baritone voice?

Or Jeremy Corbyn busking outside Westminster Palace, singing 'Un bel di' from Madame Butterfly, in his wonderful Soprano voice?

Shaun 13-07-2016 04:46 PM

Nigel is out of a job, if he needs to pay the bills then let him sing

T* 13-07-2016 04:48 PM

there was someone beatboxing down a kazoo into a microphone the other day and it was awFUL
they need to not

Livia 13-07-2016 04:50 PM

I was going to take the piss, but actually, he sings a lot better than I do.

T* 13-07-2016 04:52 PM

The way the all pounced on her and got their kids to join in is disgusting though tbh...
Even though she shouldn't of done it in the first place (ngl I don't blame her), there's no need to act like yobs and white knights towards her at all
