Could there be an extension
Could there be an extension past the 6 weeks? I think it’s not long enough, usually a normal BB should run for at least 8 or 9 weeks. I can see the next 3 weeks now feeling really rushed with random double evictions here and there which could ruin it honestly.
It seems to be very popular and if I remember correctly I think back when CBB17 aired they extended it by two weeks due to its popularity and viewings so it’s possible? |
I doubt they will extend but hopefully the next series will be longer.
It was weird last night when AJ said we are at the halfway point, I feel like they've only just gone in and we don't know them all yet and its halfway over |
Unfortunately not :bawling:
|
…I wouldn’t think that would be possible or workable because the channel schedules will be worked out so much in advance…and also, there may be many other changes they would have to make in the background../…technical stuff…?..and also, although we the fans may be enjoying it, it doesn’t seem to be getting huge viewing figures is what I’m reading ….so, all in all I wouldn’t think that it would even be a thought they would have to extend it…

I'm a celeb is due shortly too
|
The ratings would need to significantly increase over the next few episodes just for ITV to consider it imo.

tbh I would rather 6 weeks of full on, the last week in normal series is always dull when there are just a few hms left think we need to be grateful if it is back at all  |

No it won’t be extended
Last night was a boring show Any confrontation or disagreements are being apologised for It’s sitting around bb4 as regarding entertainment Just feels like they are at school Spin of show is unwatchable, Aj is too loud and runs around likes she’s done some real good speed At the moment I can’t see the normal show getting another year |

No Ben.
Not possible. Other shows are now booked as soon as ITV2HD Big Brother ends. |

Aside from that, the housemates are inevitably hugging and attempting to act maturely within 5 minutes of a mini-blowup. |
I don't think so. Because I'm a celebrity is starting soon.
|
No extension, they will just cram in loads of double evictions and make it messy.

We always rightly come down on HMs for being manufactured drama queens who play it up to the cameras, but imo it's just as bad for HMs to play up being diplomatic and mature in order to avoid the spotlight and coast to the finale. Both extremes are tiresome to watch, especially when in this case it seems that pretty much all of them are either genuinely afraid of confrontation or simply playing up being diplomatic. |

I don't think they would. Apart from scheduling, the hms might have booked holidays, taken a leave of absence from work/uni etc. It would be a horrible choice for the hms who have committed to the show and it wouldn't be great for BB if they all decided to go!
But I agree it might be longer next time if enough people complain about the shortness of it and the ratings are high enough |
Maybe next year they will put it on in the Summer and give it longer time before I'm a Celeb.
I think that's the best we can hope for. It all depends on how it performs I guess. If they can sell advertising off it all will be good. |
