Could there be an extension past the 6 weeks? I think it’s not long enough, usually a normal BB should run for at least 8 or 9 weeks. I can see the next 3 weeks now feeling really rushed with random double evictions here and there which could ruin it honestly.
It seems to be very popular and if I remember correctly I think back when CBB17 aired they extended it by two weeks due to its popularity and viewings so it’s possible?

I doubt they will extend but hopefully the next series will be longer.

It was weird last night when AJ said we are at the halfway point, I feel like they've only just gone in and we don't know them all yet and its halfway over

…I wouldn’t think that would be possible or workable because the channel schedules will be worked out so much in advance…and also, there may be many other changes they would have to make in the background../…technical stuff…?..and also, although we the fans may be enjoying it, it doesn’t seem to be getting huge viewing figures is what I’m reading ….so, all in all I wouldn’t think that it would even be a thought they would have to extend it…

tbh I would rather 6 weeks of full on, the last week in normal series is always dull when there are just a few hms left

Any confrontation or disagreements are being apologised for
It’s sitting around bb4 as regarding entertainment
Just feels like they are at school
Spin of show is unwatchable, Aj is too loud and runs around likes she’s done some real good speed
At the moment I can’t see the normal show getting another year

I read that’s it’s already been commissioned for another series as well as a celeb series. I do hope it will be longer and they will learn from things that haven’t worked this series. It seems like they’ve given it more of an I’m a celeb/love island format where there are focused activities which are given the most airtime and then the bits of them entertaining themselves or sitting around etc are just incidental extras. I would prefer the balance to be the other way around!

I feel pretty similarly. This group buries the hatchet far too easily and for the most part, isn't interesting or entertaining enough to make up for the general lack of arguing and tension. It's all a bit too wishy-washy.

Lol well I wouldn't totally write it off, personally. I just think, they could do so much more with this. I'm not sure if it's the selection of housemates they chose, or BB's handling of them that's at fault. Probably a little of Column A, a little of Column B. Not putting Hallie and Olivia up for eviction (or even more devilishly, not putting everyone up for eviction) in response to their coded talk was a huge missed opportunity imo. No one wants BB to intervene all the time in order to create false conflict, but when the HMs bring it on themselves, that's a prime opportunity to intervene. And they completely blew it.

Aside from that, the housemates are inevitably hugging and attempting to act maturely within 5 minutes of a mini-blowup.
