Germany : ISIS, Syrian Terrorist,26: Mass Stabbing : many now dead
Again
[A number of people are reported to have been killed in a knife attack in the western German city of Solingen, local media say. Bild website says a man randomly stabbed passers-by during a festival. Several people were also injured in the attack. The attacker is believed to have fled the scene, and police have launched a manhunt.] BBC Details of the attack are still sketchy. |
Europe is HELL

Not another Taylor swift event I hope.
I know that sounds bad, and sounds like its diminishing the fact that it's probably not. But it could be, right? |

No it was a Local Festival Typical place for this Terrorist to Murder. So far 3 are dead (Ref:SkyNewsHD) |
Do they know if there was anyone helping him?
|
He is still on the run.
German Police should kill him, in my view |
…another awful, violent attack…and such a concern that the attacker is still out there and could attack again…I hope that the person responsible is in custody very soon…
|
It seems baffling that he's still at large and they have no description of the attacker. He stabbed a load of people in a crowd of thousands - how do they not have dozens of witnesses who could describe him :conf:

https://www.dw.com/en/germany-police.../live-70038019 this link is a useful liveblog btw Solingen: A festival in a city marked by tragedy The name given to the event, "Festival of Diversity," comes amid fears that xenophobia is rising in Germany. Solingen itself was the scene of one of the worst cases of xenophobic violence in postwar Germany. In May 1993, four young German men who had neo-Nazi ties set fire to the house of a large Turkish family, killing three girls and two women and injuring 14 other family members. In October 1995, the perpetrators were convicted of arson and murder and given prison sentences of between 10 and 15 years. The incident cause a wave of shock throughout Germany, where many residents are of Turkish origin, partly owing to a labor recruitment agreement signed between Berlin and Ankara in 1961. |

Now let’s hope he can be found. |
It could happen anywhere.
I was in the mall today and thought, what's to stop a nutcase stabbing people in here? Nothing. |

I just heard a news report saying not to speculate about the stabber, but there must to loads of CCTV as well as witnesses, they make things worse because how are people to protect themselves if they dont have at least some kind of description? He went for peoples necks so he knew what he was doing
RIP to the victims |

A 15 year old boy has been detained by German police after three people were killed in a mass stabbing at a diversity festival - but the perpetrator is still at large.
A large-scale manhunt was launched last night for the suspect, who started attacking people shortly after 9.30pm on Friday as thousands gathered at the central square in Solingen, west Germany, for a festival to mark the city’s 650th anniversary. The detained 15-year-old was seen speaking with the perpetrator of the attack moments before it was carried out, police said in a press conference this afternoon. Police are questioning the teenage boy, as the manhunt for the perpetrator - believed to be a man - continues. Counterterrorism officer Markus Caspers said an investigation into the motive is ongoing, but that the “overall circumstances” show that terrorism “cannot be ruled out”. The three people who died were a 67-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman. Eight people were injured, including four “very seriously”.
