Is it just me who finds it odd that a mod closed the other thread after I questioned the integrity of the mods on here.....?

Or is it just me who says it out loud?

But the rumour being discussed was around since mm&i changed her name. And its not really a good idea to start it all up again. As its only just gone away really.

I fail to see how that broke the site rules.

I got banned for saying 'up yours'. like what the actual ****?

I asked Joe where he got his info from. He's vague about it.

It seems weird that mm&i would give out the email address associated with his/her facebook if he/she was pretending to be someone else. If he/she had used it to register on here though, the staff would have it, and could use it to find out more. That's to be expected.

What isn't to be expected is for the staff to then discuss it with the members and for the members to make little jibes in the threads.

Let's not beat around the push here - quite blatantly Vicky or Niamh told their posse about it, totally abusing their privileges as mods. I'm not accusing either of you before you ban me, cos i don't know which of you it was, but it's obvious to anyone what happened.

As I said, I wasn't told by a mod. So that bit is nothing to do with me.

I've been friends with Rory and Greg for a long time and I don't recall them ever discussing TiBB issues with me on MSN or anywhere else.

Looks like not all mods have that standard though.

Jack, you say that now, because it's about some juicy forum gossip, but if they were to use the info you registered with to pry into your personal life, then share it with others, you wouldn't be so keen, would you?

Fair point, but:

A) I wouldn't pretend to be a little 13 year old girl, or someone I'm not on this or any other forum
B) If you do do that, then you are misleading people and seeking attention...basically trolling

I agree that he/she shouldn't be faking their identity altogether... but you have to look at the bigger picture...

Mods can see your registration details and should not be abusing that.. regardless of what the member is doing... two wrongs do not make a right.

When you register on a site, you expect some kind of privacy for your details. I don't know what TiBB's policy is, but I know mods never used to discuss site business with friends. I was friends with Mike, Red Moon and Sunny01 back in the day and they never discussed anything.

Innocent until proven guilty though Jack, that's always the way it should be, don't you think? I don't want to hear idle speculation and gossip on the forum. There are various avenues to take if you have a problem with a certain member, and I think discretion is very important, for everybody involved and for the health of the forum in general.
