Outdoor urinals

Grim isn't the word. I can't believe people actually use these, I didn't think anyone did until I saw someone stood at it today! Anyone got them in their town? We've got them in the city centre

I suppose if you were desperate then you would have to. Never seen them before theres none around here

Imagine the type of crap that goes down those things

InOne 07-10-2010 04:47 PM

Never seen one before, although can't imagine them to be very nice. Guess it suits the pissed up weekend ravers though, stops them pissing in the street.

HBB1508 07-10-2010 05:00 PM

Gross but I had to laugh at they way they have been obliged to put a gents sign on the side!!!!

Think they're only supposed to be pissers - not male sit-downs to rid the body of that unwise curry/kebab after 14 pints.

And the little kiddie in the background of that pic - luverly!

MTVN 07-10-2010 05:06 PM

Yeah, they had them in Newquay when I was there. I was strangely intrigued by the concept, so I did use them a few times  Never in broad daylight when there were a lot of people around though

Not in winter I hope just in case people thought you were naturally that size and it wasn't really the cold :joker:

Nope, it was summer thankfully, otherwise yes it could be a little embarassing :joker:

Never seen them before but i bet they are beyond awkward to use.

Tom 07-10-2010 05:28 PM

what would probably annoy me more is if you're wearing awkward jeans/boxers and can't get it away without giving everyone a good flash. Not so bad in public toilets because you're not outside and everyone in there should be a man so they shouldn't be looking, or if they do break the man code its not as though they don't have one. Would annoy me not being able to wash my hands though

I'm rubbish with the buttons on Levi's 501s. On holiday recently, I was getting worried that all the Germans in the male toilets would be thinking I was breaking the male code by wriggling back and forwards trying to get the buttons out!

On the other hand, when I wore the kilt, all the Germans were well impressed when I just walked up to the urinal, pulled the bottom of the kilt up to eyeline and started while they were fumbling about

MTVN 07-10-2010 05:35 PM

They're mainly intended for when people are drunk aren't they? So that they dont end up pissing in the street. I'm surprised some people actually use them in broad daylight, completely sober.

I bet they were impressed until they seen the trail of drips on the floor :joker:

Naw- that's why hired kilts are made of extra thick weave - the sporran bumping as you walk dries it off with no visible wet patch as you walk back into mixed company :joker:

Worker heads back into the shop to finish making your Donner..........fortunately after 14 pints you don't care!

Zippy 07-10-2010 07:02 PM

Better than a shop doorway.

Its so disgusting when somebody pisses against a wall on a slope and the piss starts flooding down the road towards your shoes!

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 07-10-2010 07:04 PM

i think they only put them out on the weekend for the pissheads

i would rather piss myself tbh

LOL Haven't seen them, we here in Belfast just stick to the modern public toilets *Smug smile*

Although I almost killed myself in one of them a few years ago,

I got locked in by accident and press a button and the water was coming so I hit this little 'SOS' button not having a clue what it meant at the time but just took a chance and then the door open.

I was quite embarrassed when I got out and a few people were staring lol
