Before anyone gets at me for starting this topic I know there is a thread about the world cup somewhere but i cant find it. I just want to ask is anyone as excited as i am (I love the world cup) COME ON ENGLAND !!!

Being a football addict who watches everyone game on TV and goes to lots of games i'm hardly going to miss the world cup, i think we stand a good chance of winning the tournament i want it to be an England v Germany final.

I cant wait for it

Typical England- we all get excited, and then they probably end up losing in the second round.

Not long now let's just hope we can keep our best players injury free

Michael Owen is a big worry- he needs to be fit if we are to do well.

Its England no not the UK. If they win the UK wont get mentioned ..

It's getting a bit depressing for Scotland not qualifying for these international tournaments, with all the World Cup hype.

And why should the UK be mentioned? Its an English team of English players?

Im all for the UK, but in this sport, we are 4 separate nations.

Got to be England's year!

Can't see us getting beaten in the first three games. Then if we go through we have either Poland or Germany, neither of these teams are anything to worry about.

I'd say quarter finals is a cert, we just need to stay clear of brazil untill the final!

I not really bovvered about the world cup. Football is boring.
