Five a day - Does anyone bother?
 
Do you have five fruit/veg a day? Do you drink 2 litres of water (or whatever it is) a day the 'professionals' say you should?

Yeah, I eat over 1kg of veg a day and drink 2.5l of water a day - I also walk over 25 miles a week and eat chicken and fish rather pork or beef - but I like my beer and I like the odd bacon buttie ..... :thumbs:

Not great :laugh: I walk, I eat OK but I do love my weekend pissup :D I deffo don't do five a day though or enough water :/

I try and eat 5 a day and I probably do drink 2 litres of water everyday,if not 2 litres of water/juice/green tea.

I do drink a lot of water or fresh orange juice. But that's because I'm always thirsty.
But as for 5 a day, I hardly have 1 a day. I eat fruit but not so much veg.
I take vitamins to make up for it though lol.

I drink about a pint of water, and I usual have 4 veg/fruit during the day, I also take a few cod liver oil in the morning.

I think I drink the most water out of everyone who I know. If I go a friends house or my bfs house I always say.. "I will just have water please". Lol. However I don't think I even drink as much water as what you are supposed to?

Fruit and veg.. No.. I don't eat 5 of these a day. Sometimes it's hard. What if you just have a normal bowl of cereal for breakfast. Beans on toast for dinner and Spagetti Bolonaise for tea? Where is the fruit and veg? I do think I need to eat more fruit and veg. I like it. However no point stressing out. Just eat what you want from every food group.

i drink 0 water, unless it's in my diet coke. and eat 0 vegetables or fruit, unless it's on my pizza :D

Lol Steph. I hardly drink alcohol. Therefore the fluids I drink are fine. I think I do need to eat more fruit and veg but I enjoy most foods so no point in restricting myself to one type of food.

I drink loads of water. probably over the recommended amount to be honest. I cant really function on a morning without a couple of glasses, downed :laugh:

Fruit and veg, not so much, I only have one meal a day and rarely have any fruit in the house. Always have some form of veg on it though.

Yes I have been trying to eat more since I finally stumbled upon the shocking revelation that food isin't just something to fill you and how you feel, how fast you function, and how creative you can be is linked directly to what you eat.

I used to just eat to feed my stomach. Now I do it to feed my head. A few bananas down the hatch with a few pints of water and yer on fire.

Today I have ate a bowl of cheerios with semi skimmed milk. Drank water. Had a cup of tea with biscuits. Had a piece of melon and a banana, a green tea with biscuits and brown toast with peanut butter.

Lol biscuits are my downfall :hugesmile:
