Films that be needing sequels.

Go on, throw some suggestions out to appall and amuse me.

I'l start with one, then you list some, then I think of more.

TAKEN. A film that pits Liam Neeson against the continent of Europe with the moral of the story being 'don't attempt to attend a U2 concert'. Taken is as good as it gets because it has no qualms about being anything other than a straightfoward action movie.

You reckon Neeson would have gotten his A-Team part in that rubbish remake had he not kicked serious arse in this movie? Everyone who saw the poster laughed at it but you walked out genuinly fearing for your life. That phone call speech is one of the greatest moments in cinema history.

A VERY PARTICULAR SET OF SKILLS.

Taken  only £3 in HMV. [/arista]

I'd be interested in a sequel to Kick-Ass...but I think that's been confirmed.

If I really love a film then I usually hope there isn't a sequel. Theyre rarely any good and can actually put me off the original film if theyre really bad. So I usually avoid them to preserve the memory. Especially if they don't have great reviews.

Being a movie buff with terrible standards I have no such qualms. I appreciate and understand what makes a good film but I'm also a total ***** for dodgy sequels. I'm a complete Matrix fanboy having been raised on the trilogy and I genuinly think Reloaded is cracking despite the first forty minutes and Revolutions is ... interesting.

The only films that I don't like are what I perceive to be bland films. Even shite films are funny because they are shite.

The Warriors II [lmfao as if that'll happen].

Home Alone 5 [with me writing it, casting it and producing it].

Dead Set 2 [would be impossible but they could do a prequel and tell us what caused it]

Due Date 2 [No not some other movie with the same actors, Just a sequel!]

WANT. WANT BADLY.
omg

Stu 30-01-2011 10:20 PM

I'm surprised it has not happened yet other than the fact that McCauly however you spell it is synonymous with the franchise and any new child actor would face the wrath of nerds everywhere.

Edit : Apparently McCauly whatshisface aint in 4 either. Never seen it thank god.

More Edit : Or 3.

Color Of Money.

Yeah it might be pushing it, but could be good to see Tom Cruise as the old time hustler

Kerry 31-01-2011 01:57 AM

None - Theres a reason there isn't a sequel already. That would be as the experts said no

 THIS!!

110% What an epic film.

I would of also said School of Rock and Die Hard but both their sequels are coming out this year I believe.

Smithy 31-01-2011 03:58 PM

A series of Unfortunate events does not need a sequel, they completely raped it in comparison from the books
