Why is Will & Kate's Initials funny? :S
 

I don't get this joke?

I remember hearing something about putting their initials together and I laughed at it, but now I forget it.

So what's the funny part?

Mario from BB9 just said on Twitter;
'I'm so slow, LOL I just realized why Will and Catherine's initials are not on any [insertwordicantspellhere].'

Think thats why the invitations have her inital first. So it didn't say WC (Toilet)

why can she not be Kate still?

She is :D But her Christian name is Catherine so she's married as that. Kate is just the shortened version. Like a James may prefer Jim or Jimmy or an Elizabeth may want to be known as Liz, Libby, Beth or Betty

If everyone starts calling her Catherine now it'll be a joke.

Keep it modern, sexy and young - we'll call her Katie. :love:

Fgs, they used Catherine for her wedding as its her full name.

Doesn't mean everyone's gonna have to call her Catherine Elizabeth, Duchess of Cambridge every time they speak to her. It's just her official title.
