Dieting?

So i noticied the other day that i have got a wee belly on the go :( So was wondering what sorta stuff should i eat more healthy ? Like maybe have a shake for breakfast instead of a egg roll or something like that ? I have no idea how to diet lol

Get rid of all bread in your diet. Stop drinking alcohol if you do.

This makes such a huge difference.

Get to the gym. Give up all chocolate and sweets for a bit. Just eat a healthy, well-structured diet and exercise.

I used go the gym alot but i broke my leg. Its all better now tho so i suppose should start going back. Like maybe have fish and that for my dinner ?

Vicky. 02-10-2011 02:37 PM

Only do the gym if you want to gain weight but lose fat.

If you just want to lose totally, do something like walking/running

Josy 02-10-2011 02:38 PM

Eat more fruit and veg and go swimming.

jaybitches 02-10-2011 02:39 PM

Oh, right. Now that it's getting a lot better, I wouldn't recommend going to the gym just yet but at least go on regular walks and, if you can, bike rides. Get a bit more active.

Just eat healthily every day. For breakfast, I don't know. Cereal? Eggs? (I don't like eggs but they're healthy.) Fruit juice? Things like that. Google it.

When you're feeling hungry between periods, snack on fruit salad or just fruit or just salad.

Yeah, fish is great for you. Just eat healthily. I'm sure you'll be able to find it on Google.

Take a look at this:

You'll have to go shopping for that. Go easy on the breakfast, though.

Just do simple stretches and walks. Don't go to the gym until you've fully recovered.

It would be better if you'd save your vegetables until lunch/dinner, really. You could ask your GP. He'll probably be able to help.

Yeah am going cut down on the currys and start eating more healthy. Also i drink water alot anyway so thats ok. Hmm how should i make eggs in the morning ? poach instead of fry ?

Lewis. 02-10-2011 03:49 PM

If you want to lose fat then you need to burn more calories than what you take in during the day. When you exercise your muscles use the calories in your body before they turn to fat, but if you exercise enough, the muscles will run out of calories to use for energy and instead will start using your fat stores for energy, thus getting rid of unwanted fat.

I'm addicted to bread, I just eat it on its own

Got a good metabolism though and I'm one of them annoying people that only has to do about 5 sit ups to lose a stone and put a load of muscle on as well

I don't believe in diets, if you cut down you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll just pile all the weight back on. A diet should become a permanent lifestyle change but not many people have the will power to do that. Cutting down will be a slower process but its more sustainable
