Can You Drive?
 

I've been meaning to start lessons forever but I've never got round to it, gonna try later this month and I was just wondering who here can drive :spin2: (legally, as in, not a provisional licence)

No, although I am allowed free driving lessons when I want them, so whether I take them up or not, we'll see.

It's awesome when you first start driving. I remember ****ting myself after I'd passed my test and I was allowed to go off and drive on my own. My instructor and I mainly stayed around the same parts, but all of a sudden I had so much to learn.

I remember thinking that I was a really good driver, too. But it's only as I've gotten a bit older, I realise how bad I actually was.

Yeah, put off learning for a while as well because I thought I wasn't that bothered about it and I did get a bit sick of the lessons towards the end but I'm glad I did get round to it, love driving now

Never really seen the point for myself when there is public transport/friends willing to drive you place (and no I don't spunge they offer lol)

Will learn eventually and get an old suzuki jeep no matter how much the insurance will cost

Nope, driving and roads scare me.

I have my provisional and I'm gonna start learning soonish, so learning I guess. :suspect:

Yeah, I got my licence last summer. Forgotten a lot of it though, as I haven't driven since.

Yes had my licence for a little while and would say I can drive safely and competently.

Yes... I've got a full motorbike licence too.

I've taken about 10 lessons so far but what with Uni I just don't have the time/money to do it up here. I enjoy it, but I'm an incredibly nervous driver. Apparently my handling is good though :shrug: just wish gears didn't exist :p

Drive an automatic then shaun? :p

I still don't understand how people just remember to change gears without thinking about it. :suspect:

Driving an automatic only gets you a really pointless license and let's face it makes you look like a dick

Lots of people have told me you can tell from the sound of the engine, but whenever I listen to it when someone changes gears it all sounds the same :suspect:

That's because they probably know to do it before it becomes noticeable, tbh when I first started driving all things like that seemed really complicated but it does all just come natural over time

oh and if anybody here has failed their test more times than me I'll send them a fruit basket.

Nope, been meaning to start also but aint got the money. Had a car at 1 point but we sold it because I hadnt even started lessons and IDK when I will :joker:

I had a go in it and Im not a natural thats for sure. Didnt like other drivers on the road ahhh
