I can see the majority of the pictures being done in biro, but not the shading, like the creases in the pillows ??? So not entirely convinced.

They look like photos with a blue tint.

That does not mean that the drawing was not done using only biro. It means the finished article was given an overall hue to it.

If those pictures were produced from biro only then I am truly amazed. They are very life like indeed.

A couple of them look real but a couple just look like photos with blue tints.

Biro is the name of the manufacturer -the Brand name - for ballpoint pens.

same way over here, a 'Hoover' (is a vacuum cleaner) but regardless of make, it's normally referred to as a Hoover in most cases.
