I mean ffs guys so many threads saying "omg the series is ruined VTE is back omg rip BB" seriously what does it matter?

If its vote to evict you'll pick up the phone and vote for the HM you want gone

If its vote to save you'll pick up the phone and vote for the HM you want to stay.

well it can effectively change the whole show...there's more than two housemates up therefore in a vote to evict, a big character will go. vote to save, they probably wont...

I understand the frustration but think it is a bit OTT since this is what we were stuck with with the apparent superior C4 BBs.

What I'm saying is that if vote to evict had been the system in January, Speidi would've got the most votes to evict first week and would have gone. They were only saved because of vote to save. Divisive characters are dead meat with a negative voting system, they are safe as houses (generally) with a positive one

Because with vote to save the housemate with the most fans gets saves but with vote to evict the one with the most haters leave.

I'm still scratching my head as to why they have changed it to evict, speidi, for example would have cost them a lot of money, surely the best way of protecting there investments is to keep VTS forever.

I dont quite understand the uproar. The classic BBs were still good despite VTE. Yes, the bitches would have probably stayed a bit longer if it was VTS, but noone really cared back then, the series' were still good.

C5 didnt do VTS right anyway. It was nearly always head to heads, which is the same as VTE.

Only time it should be VTS is if there are 4 or more housemates up. And especially when the whole house is up.

The classic BBs with VTE had to fix the system a little.. Charleys fake eviction.. Aisleyne being in that bedsit for a fortnight.. Nikki and Grace being bought into the house..

VTS is the obvious correct thing to do. Whoever decided to change it back should sit in a corner and think about what he has done.

It does suck but people saying the ratings deserve to fall because of it are going too far.

Wait, you actually cannot understand the difference between VTE and VTS? With VTE people vote negatively, for who they want out, while with VTS they vote positively, for who they want to save. Can't you understand how different the results get?
Entertaining housemates, like Speidi, are the ones that are fan favourites, and get most love. However, they are also the one that get the most hate.
This means that while they'de be the most saved and survive eviction with VTS, they will be also the most voted with VTE, for simple reason that they are as hated as they are loved. And while they get evicted, boring housemates that do nothing, basically like the rest of Speidi's CBB housemates, will survive simply because they do nothing. That's because while they aren't loved, they aren't hated either, and as such they survive VTE's over entertaining housemates, while they'd be out in a VTS. Suzie BB7 is a pretty great example of that.
