and it realises it has been plugged in but it isn't charging, help

Remove the battery then put it back in then just to see if it helps.

I used to get this a while ago with my old laptop. the battery worked fine after though, I just kept it in charging :suspect:.

Laptop batterys doe eventually die, mine does, so it's plugged in when I used it.
