He's WAS a good footballer but now he's a CELEBRITY who promotes the UK in sport (even though he got overlooked for the British Olympic team !)

He's in the BB ad breaks all the time. He's the greatest example of hype over talent, and his tattoos are awful too.

Marketable. Becks is considered likeable, humble, quietly charismatic, and handsome (appeals to Asian markets)
