Cough & flu remedies
 

omg well I've randomly gotten the flu today and my chest feels sore now too :( I've taken paracetamols and have been wearing a jumper + socks all day but it's just getting worse, what are some good remedies

Lemsip.

sing all the songs from In A Perfect World and your chest will be purified and clear up

Hot lemon with a cap of Whisky in it and get the whole thing down yer gullet.

warm lemonade with honey in it, think I might have got that from someone on TiBB :laugh:

I don't have lemonade atm should I just mix lemon juice

Olbas oil will help clear your nose if it's blocked.

Olbas oil, the actual liquid not the sticks you can buy.

Dope yourself up on Lemsip Max and put a bit of honey in it, lay in bed and wack the telly on. Works every time.

I don't have lemsip atm but I did have hot water mixed with honey and lemon

The cold/flu has calmed down but I still have a cough :|

If you have a bad throat, sucking on chocolate works fantastically. Its how I got through tonsillitis regularly when younger. It coats the back of your throat and somehow that stops the pain
