I don't know, it's a tough one, on the one hand Police have a really hard job but on the other I firmly believe racial profiling goes on alot. The whole Cannabis users being targeted though is hardly the Polices fault, it's not down to them that cannabis is illegal and alcohol isn't
|
pathetic
all coppers are bastards? disgusting idiots who put them up |
Yeah, I don't think they realise that the police themselves don't actually make the laws in regards to that cannabis one.
|
"we caused the 2011 riots"
 |
One day the police will say, do you know what? F * * * you all, and walk away. Then we'll see who the bad guys really are.
I'm not suggesting there's not an element of racism in the police, but the only way to counter that is for more black and Asian people to join up. So why is that no happening? And who's fault is it that it's not happening? Everyone seemingly has an axe of some kind to grind with the police. Until the day you really need them. |

who would he call? |
christ i hope none of these people get mugged, raped, attacked, burgled etc... who will they call then? da awful horrid police?
|
Oh please. Its like people aren't allowed to protest in any way at all.
If the people putting up the signs ever needed the police no doubt they wouldn't trust them to do the job properly. |

the reaching... |
Every time I've dealt with the police I've listened, I've heard them, I've watched them walk away thinking almost knowing that I'd never hear from them again and I was right every single time bar none.
People have the right to protest if they feel the police are not doing the job. |

You are 28 times more likely to be mugged/robbed/assaulted by a black man But as we all know this is nonsense....... The number is far higher than that lol |

It has been a long day. . |
Poor attempt indeed. Very poor.
|
'The police started the 2011 riots' lmao
No, the polices' actions started a protest, the aggressive chavs who saw an opportunity for free things started the riots, misplaced blame at it's best right here. |

I'll accept the apology in the spirit that it was given.

The police aren't above criticism, and imo institutional racism does remain as well as a worrying lack of accountability
That said I strongly disagree with the 'ACAB' sentiment and I'm sure that the vast majority of the rank and file are decent people genuinely committed to protecting our streets |

I have never heard the police make a racist remark. But then, I probably wouldn't, would I. |

" He left in (the Police) 2010, the same year he reached a non-liablilty out-of-court settlement with Scotland Yard, having alleged that his career was held back. He alleged he was made a target after writing reports outlining accusations of racial bias in the Met." he rose to Superintendent and was a founding member and former chairman of the Metropolitan Black Police Association. So he seemed to do well for himself. Not sure i would trust what he has to say about it what with his massive Axe he has that needs sharpened |

So are you saying he's lying and young officers dont have to put with horrendous racist language directed at BAME suspects and they dont have to watch Asian and black men being stopped inappropriately. Why would make up stuff like that? |
