Do you get out the bath after you pull the plug?

I always only get out the bath after all the water drains out but I've always been told it's a weird thing to do. Does anyone else do this?

No. Why do you sit there in the empty bath?

Not in an empty bath but after the water drains I get out straight away I don't get out as soon as I pull the plug :)

JoshBB 26-01-2015 05:42 PM

I would probably get out, then pull the plug.

I think it's just something I've always done I pull the plug wait for the water to go then get out

Shaun 26-01-2015 05:48 PM

I pull the plug, then get out.

Loukas 26-01-2015 05:50 PM

pull the plug and then get out. It takes like 3/4 minutes to empty the bath in that time i get out. Who would sit in an empty bath once all the waters gone?

Vicky. 26-01-2015 05:50 PM

I pull then get out

I think I saying it wrong I don't sit in an empty bath

I'll try and explain while the bath is emptying I stay in and don't get out straight after I pull the plug once all the water is practically gone and there is a bit left then I get out

Vicky. 26-01-2015 05:53 PM

I have been known to lie in an empty bath a few times if I am reading a book in the bath or something...pull plug out with toes and then just finish chapter before getting out :joker:

I pull the plug then get out immediately. The longer you stay in the bath as it's draining, the more your body is being 're-coated' by dead skin cells and dirt etc.

Oh dear this has begun to make me think...

I think I'm going to start getting out the bath as soon as I pull the plug...

I don't pull the plug until I'm out and done everything else I normally do in the bathroom, no chance am I waiting in the bath for a spider to crawl up the plug, no way.

Actually it's very sensible. If you happened to slip while getting out and hit your head, then at least you wouldn't drown.

What an odd thread :joker:. But yeah... sometimes I stay in while it's draining. I get a bad back sometimes and as the water drains I become less buoyant, settling onto the hard surface, causing my back to crunch in lovely satisfying ways!

Crimson Dynamo 28-01-2015 09:29 AM

I twist knob and get out

Thats what she said

 It's true though if you think about it Lucia, think of all the sloughed dead skin cells and dislodged dirt as thousands of microscopic Noah's Arks and your body is Mount Ararat. As the 'waters' subside, a lot of the arks all come to rest on the mountain which is your body.

Pull the plug then get out immediately. That's the way.

:joker::joker::joker: What are you going to do if there's ever a massive spider on the bath mat and it's just sat there glaring at you as you are about to get out Josy?

Vanessa 28-01-2015 11:27 AM

I never take baths, only showers. It's a waste of water and my bill is already high.

Livia 28-01-2015 12:00 PM

Pull the plug and then get out.

Creggle 28-01-2015 12:21 PM

Nothing worse than getting out and dried, then realizing the plug is still in

BigSister 28-01-2015 01:54 PM

I pull the plug then get out.

Crimson Dynamo 28-01-2015 03:48 PM
