Default Do you get out the bath after you pull the plug?

I always only get out the bath after all the water drains out but I've always been told it's a weird thing to do. Does anyone else do this?

No. Why do you sit there in the empty bath?

pull the plug and then get out. It takes like 3/4 minutes to empty the bath in that time i get out. Who would sit in an empty bath once all the waters gone?

I think I saying it wrong I don't sit in an empty bath

I'll try and explain while the bath is emptying I stay in and don't get out straight after I pull the plug once all the water is practically gone and there is a bit left then I get out

I have been known to lie in an empty bath a few times if I am reading a book in the bath or something...pull plug out with toes and then just finish chapter before getting out

I pull the plug then get out immediately. The longer you stay in the bath as it's draining, the more your body is being 're-coated' by dead skin cells and dirt etc.

I don't pull the plug until I'm out and done everything else I normally do in the bathroom, no chance am I waiting in the bath for a spider to crawl up the plug, no way.

Actually it's very sensible. If you happened to slip while getting out and hit your head, then at least you wouldn't drown.

What an odd thread . But yeah... sometimes I stay in while it's draining. I get a bad back sometimes and as the water drains I become less buoyant, settling onto the hard surface, causing my back to crunch in lovely satisfying ways!

It's true though if you think about it Lucia, think of all the sloughed dead skin cells and dislodged dirt as thousands of microscopic Noah's Arks and your body is Mount Ararat. As the 'waters' subside, a lot of the arks all come to rest on the mountain which is your body.

Pull the plug then get out immediately. That's the way.

What are you going to do if there's ever a massive spider on the bath mat and it's just sat there glaring at you as you are about to get out Josy?

I never take baths, only showers. It's a waste of water and my bill is already high.
