Who would be in your top 12 Briton list of modern times or of all time?

James 27-12-2006 07:33 PM

Here's some off the top-of-my head, mostly...

Charles Darwin
Shakespeare

John Logie Baird (for TV)
Alan Turing (computer scientist)

James Watt
Michael Faraday
Peter Sellers

Tim Berners-Lee I guess also for web hypertext which makes sites like this possible.

Most of them are scientists but I think their discoveries are more difficult to come up with.

Speaking of which have you heard the Peter Andre / Jordan song with the allegedly original Jordan vocal - before they altered it? Allegedly.

Possibly fake but still funny - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGbMZ...elated&search=
