Here's some off the top-of-my head, mostly...
Charles Darwin Shakespeare John Logie Baird (for TV) Alan Turing (computer scientist) James Watt Michael Faraday Peter Sellers Tim Berners-Lee I guess also for web hypertext which makes sites like this possible. Most of them are scientists but I think their discoveries are more difficult to come up with. |
