My friend treats me like crap
Okay, first of all I have something to admit to everyone my name isn't Lucia my name is Daniel and I'm 15. I lied about my name and age before coming on tot the forum as I wanted to keep my identity a secret from a member who isbt on here anymore and I thought I would be either judged for my age on the forum or I wouldn't be allowed on it even. I've wanted to get this off my chest for ages and ages but I thought everyone would think of me as a complete tool.
Basically, I have another problem also I'm in Year 10 at school and my friend who I've been friends with since I was like nine has begun to treat me like crap. She's basically just a bit of a bitch to me. She's begun to try to embarrass me in front of people and try to get people to turn against me because she's lying that I'd dint say something to her which I did! I've overheard her three times now talking about me to people and calling me she doesn't only do it behind my back me but also to my face. She told me I was a vile person the other day because I dared to stand up to this girl in form and this girl who I stood up to suffers from panic attacks but she treats everyone like **** so basically she had a panic attack and my friend keeps bringing it up to people to make me look like I'm a bully. She's called me loads of names like an uneducated ****er even though I get A*'s in most of my subjects and she gets C's. She constantly tells me to stop talking whenever I speak and calls me annoying when I do speak and the other week she brought up my dog who passed away two years ago and made a joke about him and it made me cry and then she called me oversensitive. I don't want to go to a teacher or my mum about it because I feel I sound childish and I should be standing up for myself but I'm literally crying a lot because of this girl and my friends are telling me I should say something but I just feel I will sound pathetic. Can somebody offer me some advice on what to do? |
She doesn't sound like a very good friend. I would cut her out of my life. There are plenty of great people around to make friends with, don't suffer a little bitch who makes you sad. Tell her she's dead to you and ignore her.

Maybe she's just joking. Are you sensitive?

Don't worry about your age/name issue hun, it has happened several times on here and little problems have arised because of it
This 'friend' of yours is clearly jealous of you and the fact that you are more intelligent than you and that you are a nicer person than she is. I would recommend talking to her less and spending less time than her until it naturally progresses to a time where you don't talk to her at all. In that time you should find a new, better group of friends. If she continues to be unkind towards you (the dog comment is just sick) then I would tell the school because the chances are she is not just being mean to you but others. Perhaps there is something wrong with her personal life? |

....aww Lucia.....I think that you have to talk to someone/an adult that you trust..?...about this because it sounds very much like bullying that she's doing ...if she's not someone that you can break a friendship with and not have contact with because of school etc and friendship groups that you both have..?...then you have to talk to someone that you have trust in, in your real life with this....is it ok if I PM you..?...

Happy you can speak about yourself for real now :) . I've been in a similar situation to you at a similar age, my friend would constantly snipe and throw nasty remarks my way coated within conversations. Yes they are your friend and you don't want to fall out, but there's a point where enough is enough and you are the sole person in control of that. I'd say cutting them out of your life is exactly what you should do as it will show them that it's not OK to continue doing what they're doing and allows you to move on from the constant nasty atmosphere. And I can assure you once you remove someone from your life who is causing you trouble and nastiness, you will feel so much better. No one deserves to be antagonised

I don't know about her personal life but I have problems also if it continues I may tell my head of year. Thanks for the advice :) |

You are not the first on here to have an overnight sex change, and I suspect you won't be the last
This person is not your friend, please stop thinking of her as that. As for advice, its tough. Best I can say is to ignore her :S |

Don't worry about the age and name thing, nice someone has the same name as me :D
Cut her out, I would rather have no friends than have friends like her. |

It's got to a point also where it's affecting my studies and I'm practically in Year 11 now so I think it's best to just cut her out |
