Oh dear. [SPOILERS]

A new Big Brother 2015 ‘Cash Bomb’ nominations twist has given Harry, Jack, Nick and Sam the chance to bid prize fund money for safety – if they were willing to sacrifice Chloe Wilburn.

For yesterday’s nominations, housemates raced each other to press a button in order to stop the prize fund counting down, earn themselves immunity and nominate another housemate.

Harry, Jack, Nick and Sam were all put up for the public vote, while Cristian, Danny and Joel earned immunity – leaving Chloe in limbo.

With the jackpot standing at £45,900, this afternoon Big Brother gathered the group to reveal another twist – which gave the nominees the chance to bid for safety.

Each of the foursome was given a board and a pen, so they could secretly write down the amount of money they’d be willing to sacrifice from the prize fund for their safety.

The highest bidder would no longer face the public vote, and their bid deducted from the prize fund. The highest possible bid – £45,900 – would reduce it to zero.

However, they’d also have to pass their nomination on to another housemate – and as Cristian, Danny and Joel are immune, Chloe was the only possible candidate.

If all four nominees bid zero, then Chloe would remain safe and they would remain in the firing line. It is currently unclear how a tie for the highest bid would have been broken.

The result of the twist is expected to be revealed tomorrow.

There's nothing fair about life, let alone reality TV.

I read it wrong at first, I thought it was instant eviction, but still it's really bad.

Wojtek 05-07-2015 06:43 PM

So Chloe could end just like Sophie from BB14... Great.

I do believe Sam has placed a bid as on the video (accessible by the app or webste) you can make out Sam writing something that doesn't look like 0, more like 1.

Yeah it's great they're both about as interesting as a toothpick

I like this twist because I think Chloe's has got away with it a few times re noms. I'd like to see her up rather than just skate to the final. I hope one of them goes for it.

Morgan. 05-07-2015 07:01 PM

I don't :(

Chloe is a good finalist for me (final 2 I hope)

Pete. 05-07-2015 07:02 PM

Chloe gets nominated by producers, legends then producers again bye

I agree. Why should she be above nominations? I hope she gets put up.

I quite like that as a twist tbh. It'll be interesting to see what they do.

That's what BB is about, Grace avoided noms for ages until a twist came in. We've had like 4 different rounds of noms this year

Vicky. 05-07-2015 09:27 PM

Could be a £ tbh

abhorson 05-07-2015 09:48 PM

It will be Sam who goes highest, even if it is only 1k. Trust me. The other three won't go there. And she will then say "But you know i love you"!

FacelessME 05-07-2015 10:03 PM

What a brilliant twist. Who will make the highest bid?

I reckon Harry might be the one to make a bid, because she'd be thinking all the reasons for nominations were really "unfair" and would want to make a bid knowing she wouldn't win the prize fund anyway.

I was going to say Jack, but I don't think he would, because of one reason and one reason only. CHLOE! He'll be thinking "I don't think me fellow housemates would let me off the hook for effectively putting Chloe up to save me self. On the other hand, if Joel could spend 2 grand on Pizza...."

Nah he won't do it.

Ah nuts. Could be a disappointing result, maybe.

Nick might, the money doesn't really mean anything to him, Daddy is loaded.

Jack wouldn't he already tried to sacrifice himself for her he really likes her, misguided fool!
