I'm guessing it's because he doesn't want to look a tit with a great big stripe down the middle of his head. He might not suit it, but it's better.

First Helen takes an eyebrow and not he's had to go bald, I guess he had to lose weight somehow.

I'm guessing he wants the last minute votes from a good highlight show.. Definitely does not look better than the hat with hair or the combover covering the stripe.

Who in their right mind would vote for Jack just because he shaved his head ?

Besides, I can't see Jack leaving the house looking like some hillbilly trailer trash. He said a few weeks ago that he had a nice blue shirt and some trousers. I hardly think he would go to that effort only to top it off with a dirty old hat and a comb over. :joker:
