Eggs from caged hens?
I dont eat eggs personally as I find them unappealing but I'm just wondering if you buy free range or caged hen eggs?
Caged hens are treated awfully :( |
Free range omg
|
*waits for this to turn into "well if you eat meat how is it any different!!" argument*
Free range though |
I get mine each week from the local butcher and they are organic free range and delicious and so, so much better than the crap from the coop
|
£1.95 for 6 XL

Free range, could never eat eggs from chicks caged up scared and alone
|
Free range eggs, free range egg pasta, free range eggs in cakes etc,
We look at labels whenever possible, Sainsburys tend to be the best for free range eggs in their stuff. |
I buy the caged hens.
|
I eat eggs from my own chickens which are free to go wherever they want, if it be their field or my garden :grin2:
|
Also my chickens are ex-battery so they've been saved from that hell <3

..I only really use eggs for cooking/baking but one of my friends gives them to me and she keeps very happy chickens..
|
I had to research into egg production in school and I will never EVER not buy free range. The things I saw/read just turned my stomach it's awful.
