Default Eggs from caged hens?

I dont eat eggs personally as I find them unappealing but I'm just wondering if you buy free range or caged hen eggs?

Caged hens are treated awfully

Free range eggs, free range egg pasta, free range eggs in cakes etc,
We look at labels whenever possible, Sainsburys tend to be the best for free range eggs in their stuff.

Me too. I agree the hens are treated terribly but if the alternative is spending in excess of £2 for 6 eggs then sorry but I aint doing it.

That's one thing I never skimp on. I always buy ecological eggs from hens that can run about freely.

I had to research into egg production in school and I will never EVER not buy free range. The things I saw/read just turned my stomach it's awful.

My younger sister knows someone who keeps very happy chickens too, and gets eggs from them.
