Big Little Lies is an upcoming American comedy miniseries series created by David E. Kelley, based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty. The series will air on HBO The pilot episode was written by Kelley. The series will consist of seven episodes, all directed by Jean-Marc Vallée. The series began filming in January 2016. In October 2016, HBO released a teaser trailer. The series will premiere on February 19, 2017.

Looks quite good.

Reese Witherspoon! Nicole Kidman! Alexander Skarsgård! Adam Scott! Shailene Woodley! The star power alone is enough to pull us in. I thought who died was really clever, I really didn't expect it at all, it was still relevant and worked really well.

But a part from it being a little predictable with those things it was fantastic and it didn't take away from the show

Normally I'm quite good at predicting things but with not BLL.

It really was fantastic, I pray there's a season 2.

I can't see it going past a season 2/3 but it would be lovely to at least have 1 more season.

Normally i like stories to wrap up and not drag on too much but there's so much more potential there, the characters are so interesting and could be explored much more, especially Bonnie and Renata i think, as we only got a glimpse of their lives and back stories

Yeah it wrapped up so well, it all unfolded into place like a jigsaw puzzle. I agree, it could go on forever because the characters are amazing and it's a gem of a show.

I thought there'd be pages and pages on this! It's one of the best things ever to have been on telly! I must be thick as I didn't work it out at all! :laugh:

I felt genuinely sad when it was all over! When I initially read what is was about I thought it was going to be a comedy about rich bitches and it didn't appeal at all.. the characters were just amazing though! Every single one of them!
