SHAMED Jade Goody confessed yesterday that her career is in meltdown and she is having to live off her savings.

The Celebrity Big Brother loser revealed that she has been shunned by TV and business bosses since her racist bullying turned her into a hate figure.

“There’s nothing coming in – all the work’s dried up,” she admitted. “I’m living off my savings. I haven’t got any work lined up – no TV work.”

All her TV deals were axed, her autobiography was shelved and her money-spinning perfume was pulled from stores after the race row stunned viewers.

Now Jade has pulled out of a deal to buy a £1.4million converted barn. And she revealed that she is planning to move house – despite insisting she doesn’t yet need to downsize.

The former dental nurse is struggling because she has become so used to living a lavish lifestyle off the whopping £650,000 per year which she made through her former image as Britain’s best-loved reality star.

Pals believe she will find it a near-impossible task to rein in her massive spending after years of splashing out on luxury homes, flash cars, clothes and bling.

One said: “Jade’s been used to living on at least £500,000 a year. She’s been able to afford anything she wants without having to count the pennies. It is going to be a very hard habit to break.”

Since becoming a star on Big Brother, Jade has charged £30,000 for a personal appearance and built up a multi-million pound fortune – of which she has just £2m left in the bank.

Looking worried and miserable outside her Essex home yesterday, Jade confessed: “I’ve got nothing coming in.” But when probed further about her finances the broken star snapped: “Any more questions, you’ll have to go through my publicist.”

Jade launched a massive PR offensive to try to rescue her career after becaming one of the most hated people in the country over her bullying of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty when she appeared on Celebrity BB with boyfriend Jack Tweed.

Her efforts have failed to pay off and she now fears she’s on the showbiz scrapheap for life.

Stores including Boots, The Perfume Shop and Superdrug dropped her Shh... perfume – which was expected to net her at least £75,000.

Living TV which broadcast her telly shows Just Jade and Jade’s PA and paid her £150,000 a year axed her from any new projects.

Sales of her fitness video took a hit and she lost a string of magazine and sponsorship deals.

And publishers Harper Collins ditched plans for a paperback version of her life story.

Didn't she buy a £45,000 Porsche last month? According to that story about the unfortunate deer she did. Not that I'm interested in anymore Jade stories of course, just bored of them.

Can anyone confirm this? Looks like all the charity work has come to an abrupt end.

She probably just has a lot of money to spare, despite the 'huge' amounts she has said she has donated to charity. :rolleyes:

Yes, it does look like the charity work has indeed come to an end. Funny, that Porsche cost twice as much as her fee for CBB5. What a generous woman, eh. Always putting herself out to help others.
