Brandy, whose full name is Brandy Norwood, was due to fly to JFK airport in New York on Friday (June 2), but collapsed on the plane at Los Angeles' LAX airport before departure.

Fellow passengers noticed her fall and assisted her, before she was taken to a hospital. The singer was then released and will spend some time resting and recuperating.

A statement at the time said: "The stress of all of the traveling and working so incessantly has exhausted her.

"She will be relaxing for the next few days."
