Labour appoint racist Munroe Bergdorf as equalities adviser
 

Munroe was the first transgender model to front a campaign for L'Oreal but was dropped in September after claims she posted racist comments online.

She wrote a lengthy Facebook post which it's claimed included the comment: "Honestly I don't have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.

"Because most of ya'll don't even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour.

"Your entire existence is drenched in racism."

The comments were later deleted.

L'Oreal said her comments were "at odds" with their values and it ended its partnership with her.

The 29-year-old will work with Labour's shadow minister for women and equalities, Dawn Butler, who held an event at Parliament on Monday to announce the LGBT advisory panel.

She also said -

Come see me when you realise that racism isn’t learned, it’s inherited and consciously or unconsciously passed down through privilege.

Once white people begin to admit that their race
is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth… then we can talk.’

Amongst other vile stuff.

Conservative vice-chair Helen Grant urged Ms Butler to reconsider the appointment.

Citing Bergdorf’s history of controversial comments, Ms Grant said: ‘There really is no excuse for these abhorrent slurs and, fundamentally, they damage the campaign to promote equality and diversity across public life.

When Jeremy Corbyn was elected Labour leader, he promised a ‘kinder politics’. Yet it seems every day we see some new example of abuse from the Labour Party. The kind of language Bergdorf has used has no place in public life, and ought to be condemned by all those who are serious about promoting equality.’

Why can't we acknowledge she has a point?...
Her historical depiction is factually accurate, why can't that be acknowledged.
There exists institutional racism , all these institutions don't have a racist ethos and the the required level of equality and diversity training and yet it exists.

Why should we have an equalities spokesperson who is afraid to address such issues?

Any point she may have had about institutional racism got lost in all the sweeping generalisations of an entire race.

She had good points but she gave people who are too insecure to want to hear them an out by putting across her points in a terrible way.

We're past all that now, nothing she said has any relevance in the modern world, not in the West anyway.

Her comments speak for themselves.This whole concept of ‘white privilege’ is just regressive racism and has zero place in any kind of equality.I’m sure all the homeless white people she sees on the street daily would take issue with her assertions that they are so privileged and violent.

Who said anything about love? But people of all races are legally equal now, there are diversity schemes in place in several workplaces, and most people don't give a crap about race. There was no "break out", it was and still is a gradual process.

Statistical disparity doesn’t mean discrimination..Discrimination due to race is illegal.We live in a meritocracy now.Capitalism doesn’t see colour it sees money.Race discrimination isn’t productive.If you’re racist you lose money.

Historically,So what?Do we want to live in the past forever or move on?This is what these leftist activists do.Constantly bringing up and living in the past to try and keep people living in a constant state of victimhood to benefit their political narrative and try and keep white people feeling guilty about what their ancestors have done.
